Lucky Dragon Jewelry was born in 2000, when
artist Jewel Lerato landed a part time job at a bead shop in
Colorado. Part of her training for the job was to take all the
jewelry making classes. She knew wire was her medium from that
very first class! Her skill has evolved through many years of
practice.
The name Lucky Dragon comes from a stuffed toy
that her German grandmother made for her as a child. This dragon
was recently reconstructed by her beautiful daughter Ticah, and
her mother and was given to Jewel as a birthday gift. She feels
this dragon is her lucky charm that's taken her to another level
in her life and her art. I hope you are inspired by Lucky Dragon
